First Haircut!

First Haircut!

We were getting ready for church and your Daddy said, we should cut their hair
sometime soon, probably....and I said, "Let's do it right now."
So we put you in a chair on the kitchen floor and
got right to cutting.  I only cut about a half
an inch and there's no pictures to
prove that I did your first haircut
because Daddy was busy holding
your heads still....

First Pet -- Georgia, the fish....

All Smiles!

Last Night in the Cribs

Well, baby girls, you are 2 months away from 3 years old.....we've waited as long as we could....and tonight is the end of the road for you sleeping in cribs.

Macy, you've been climbing out, over and over, and we are worried that you'll get hurt if we don't do something soon.

We let you do a switcheroo tonight....Molly has asked many times if she could sleep in Macy's crib....so, tonight, we let y'all sleep in each other's cribs.  You were so excited.

We are afraid of what's to come....the end of the "nap we can count on" is a sad thought....but, here we are.

I look forward to seeing how different your room looks with the toddler beds instead of cribs....Molly's sure to say, "different" when she sees it.  (One of our favorite things she says....)

Happy Birthday Mommy Sweeeedie

What a wonderful way to celebrate my kinda-birthday.
Even though I've been on the planet for quite some time now,
answering the questions, "Do you celebrate today or tomorrow?" on Feb. 28
has always left me floundering.
So, I have decided that I am now old enough to issue a proclamation that
Feb. 28 will be my (small) celebration day unless there's a 29th.
I don't make a big deal about my birthday but it is a weird feeling--
kind of like a ground hog day feeling every year when
people ask that question.
So, this little video from the girls seals the deal.
When I got home from work yesterday - February 28th,
they told me Happy Birthday about 300 times.
Thank you, Krissy and Charles!!
