Summer Time & One Year Olds

Girls, Mommy is so happy to have time to spend with you this summer.  You are full of life and laughs and energy.  I love spending the day with you and being the one who gets to see what you're up to first.  One of my favorite things is going in to pick you up from your naps and seeing the big, goofy, satisfied grins you have when you realize you're being rescued! 

Today and yesterday at lunch time, you did something so very cute.  Macy, you will reach your hand over to Molly and then Molly, you look over at Macy with a big ol' grin and reach back to her.  Molly, you laugh about it and Macy, you smile about it.  I love those moments! 

Molly, lately you've been "walking" (falling forward) with a jolly, Frankenstein-like look.  I love it.  You walk along the coffee table or wherever and then just go out on faith....falling forward with a big goofy grin on your face.  So sweet, so pleasant!

Macy, you are continuing to show off your balancing skills in the middle of the floor or wherever you find an opportunity.  You're serious about it!  But then, at times, you give that big ol' smiling-as-hard-as-I-can smile.  So precious.
