4 and holding

Some things I don't want to forget about you sweeties at four years old:

Mommy, can we play in the hiding trees?

Can we go to the Stake House?  (State house)

Mommy is the sun setting?

Last night....

Up a hill bye

Mrs Beverly's mountain

Diamonds (dimes)

What comes after a hundred, Molly?  Nothing

Deck the Halls

My precious girls...you are four years old this Christmas.  Four year olds at Christmas are so much fun because you love decorating our "Christmas house" and you can actually help and have fun doing it.  You have lots of questions about the magic of Christmas...and your Daddy and I have had some pretty stiff discussions about that topic...yikes!

One of my favorite things is that you are not excited because of gifts or the hope of gifts.  You're just excited about the season.  You love seeing the lights on people's homes....yard decorations...Christmas movies....Christmas music and the promise of parties and time with family.

When someone asked you yesterday about what you wanted for Christmas, Molly, I was so glad to look at you as you looked confused and didn't know what their question meant.

I know this innocence may fade after this Christmas...but, I am savoring it for now.

These pictures below are dreams come true for me.  Even though we have a humble home...and the skinniest Christmas tree in America, we have all we need.  I love our little warm house and the laughter that happens all the time.

I'm so thankful to be your Momma!
